Barley Real Estate was established in 1958 by Bill Barley and has been serving the greater Charleston area ever since - thats over 45 years of helping people, just like you, with their real estate needs. We specialize in personal and professional real estate sales and appraising services.

Our company has evolved over the years and we have worked in several different aspects of the real estate industry. In the early days, the company was originally founded in the late 1950s to specialize in insurance and originating mortgage loans. In the early 1960s, we started selling real estate and formed a construction company to build new homes. We primarily built in the East Cooper area, in what are now the older, established neighborhoods; as well as on Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms.  In the mid 1970s, we started performing real estate appraisals and continue to do so today.  Currently, we sell real estate and perform appraisal services in the greater Charleston area, as well as Berkeley and Dorchester Counties.
